Each group charges a fee (called subscriptions or subs) to cover the costs of running regular meetings – which covers venue hire, insurances and materials for activities. There are sometimes extra charges for special activities, camps and events. We try to keep our subs as low as possible so that anyone can come to Scouts. If you need help paying subs, please speak to your leader.
Hardship Fund
Money should not be a barrier to any young person being a part of Scouts or taking part in activities. If you as a parent are under financial pressures that could impact your child’s involvement in Scouts, please in the first instance speak to your leader. If the Group/Unit is in a position where they cannot help, they will give you details on how to contact the Pembrokeshire Scouts Hardship Fund.
